-Desolate Wings was in touch with Hideous Abomination of the Perverted Temple of Necromancy (from Goatvomit) and through him Commando Wolf asked him to curse Dreadful Relic with his audial maledictions. When he was acquainted with the sound and concepts of Dreadful Relic he agreed to enter our Citadel of death mysteries. The tracks you hear in the “Archaic Conjurations” demo were summoned for Black Funeral’s “Vampyr - Throne of the Beast” but never used.

-I have not any high expectations from the current scene, but a handful of newer bands such as Mons Veneris, Hird, Rattenkoenig, Adytum, Cultes des Ghoules, Sacrificio, Witchcraft/Necromonarchia Daemonum, Necromantic Worship and a few more caught my attention. Frankly, apart from the aforementioned, I don’t care if the whole scene was to vanish in night and fog forever! I have plenty of evil, intolerant, dark and racist metal from the 80’s and early 90’s that fulfill my needs…

 

 

-Now we will concentrate on the LP, so no more covers at the moment. Maybe one for the gigs, who knows….

 

 

-I hate listening to tributes, I prefer the original stuff, especially in the case of Burzum or Absurd.

 

 

-There cannot be “underground” in the social media, this is contradictory! What’s the point to claim being underground when you expose your band to millions of clueless nobodies?

 

 

-Sermones ad Mortuos is a band formed by Desolate Wings, Commando Wolf and Hideous Abomination of Goatvomit. They play some form of ambient with a concept based on the works of Lovecraft and Poe.
